Workshop Foreman

We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our service department. This is a rare opportunity for a talented individual to progress their career in the Automotive industry, within a National company.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Oversee and supervise workshop technical team.
  • Ability to problem solve complex technical issues.
  • Distribute daily tasks and work amongst team.
  • Ensure repair completion times are monitored and adhered to amongst team.
  • Maintain and oversee ongoing workshop operations to ensure OH&S standards are adhered and maintained.
  • Support the service manager and reception team with technical assistance.
  • Liaise with customers on a technical nature where required.
  • Maintain and where necessary escalate matters of a technical nature to manufacturer.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Trade qualifications and relevant strong automotive servicing experience (Master tech or Diagnostic specialist accreditation highly considered)
  • Maintain a strong understanding of electrical and diagnostic routines.
  • A good understanding of Dealership warranty processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • A strong understanding of service department processes.
  • Dynamic skills, someone who can hit the ground running and ensure that our workshop continues to run at maximum efficiency
  • Customer centric outlook.

Mazda Sales Consultant

We have an opportunity for a Mazda Sales Consultant to join the team at Western Plains Automotive

This is an opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team that has a passion for selling cars and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting & greeting customers who visit the dealership.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Conduct test drives and highlight the unique features and benefits of each vehicle.
  • Present pricing information and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Using your hunger and skill to exceed targets.
  • Generating sales from warm web-based leads.
  • Working introductions through to aftermarket and F&I teams.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous sales experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential!
  • The proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and close a sale.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to meet and exceed targets.
